Research Supervision: I have developed several level 9 modules and postgraduate programmes in Teaching and Learning for GMIT and the CUA. I lead the level 9 Certificate and Diploma in Teaching and Learning programmes in GMIT, including the role of internal examiner, a supervisor and co-supervisor on the MA T&L programme. Annually I supervise 30+ level 9 papers/publications for various modules and programmes on the postgraduate CPD pathway in teaching and learning.

In 2020, I commenced a PhD co-supervisory role with the School of Education, NUI Galway. This collaborative initiative involves lead supervisor Dr Tony Hall (NUI Galway) and co-supervision with Dr Carina Ginty (GMIT, Teaching and Learning) and Dr Cornelia Connolly (NUI Galway, School of Education). The PhD candidate is Annette Cosgrove (a Lecturer in Computing in the School of Science and Computing). The study is exploring the impact of professional development in technology enhanced learning in teaching communities across multiple higher education sites (2020-2025). This study will build on the work of DigitalEd.ie knowledge platform (Annette is a member of the DigitalEd.ie project team).
